Elgin received his B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). Since joining Shimadzu Asia Pacific in 2016, he has leveraged his expertise in gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCMS) to address customer application challenges. Over the past nine years, Elgin has also provided training and developed applications involving accessories such as headspace, pyrolyzer, and thermal desorption for users across various industries.


Elvi Horiyanto

Elvi graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2016. She has since built a successful career in the field of analytical chemistry, specializing in gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCMS). Over the past five years, Elvi has focused on developing innovative applications while delivering operational training and exceptional customer support, consistently achieving high customer satisfaction.


Chua Chun Kiang
Senior Product Specialist (GCMS)

Chun Kiang received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has been at Shimadzu Asia Pacific since 2019. He has accumulated over 15 years of experience in research and training across various disciplines, including mass spectrometry, gas and liquid chromatography, nanomaterials, electrochemistry, and organic chemistry. Chun Kiang is passionate about sharing his technical knowledge and assisting others in identifying solutions to challenges in the field of chemistry.
