Fast, reliable microbial identification is essential across industries such as food safety, environmental analysis, and clinical research. MALDI-TOF MS has set the standard for fast species identification, and with Shimadzu’s MicrobialTrack software, labs can achieve even greater accuracy and coverage. In this Digital Classrooms session, explore how MicrobialTrack’s genomics-driven algorithm transforms workflows by making identification broader, clearer, and easier.
Discover how MicrobialTrack pushes your lab’s capabilities further. Its extensive reference database—about 18,000 validated and 85,000 genomically predicted species—enables accurate identification of both common and tough-to-culture organisms. Advanced algorithms match your results to theoretical protein profiles, helping you achieve precise, trustworthy answers in less time.
You’ll also see how MicrobialTrack’s vendor-neutral, cloud-based workflow makes it easy to upload and analyse your data with clear, color-coded results for faster interpretation. Whether your focus is environmental microbiology, food and beverage testing, fermentation, microbiome work, or clinical studies and more, this session delivers practical strategies to boost clarity, accuracy, and lab efficiency.
