X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) is a powerful tool used for characterizing materials and analyzing surfaces, playing a significant role in developing materials for the green energy sector.

Join us for an informative session on Shimadzu’s Digital Classrooms to explore how XPS contributes to innovation solutions towards sustainability.

Herein, discover valuable insights that XPS offers into the chemical composition and surface properties of materials used in next-generation solar cell materials and advanced battery components. XPS, a non-destructive technique, offers highly precise and detailed information about the elemental composition and chemical states of these material surfaces.

Our session will also showcase the capabilities of the AXIS Supra+ photoelectron spectrometer. Get to experience first-hand how XPS enhances our understanding of surface chemistry and electronic structure, leading to optimization in material performance, efficiency, and durability.

As we find ourselves in an era of growing environmental concerns, XPS plays a crucial role in the development of sustainable energy technologies. Join us as we explore how XPS enables scientists and engineers to create a cleaner, greener future for the next generations to come.

Learning Objectives:
  • Importance of surface analysis for green energy sector materials
  • Applications of XPS
  • Importance of high sensitivity & high energry resolution XPS
  • Capabilities of AXIS Supra+

Presenter
