Dr. Derrick Tan obtained his PhD in chemistry from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has more than 7 years of research experience in small molecules, nucleic acids, peptides and protein synthesis, separation and purification. He joined Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd in 2021 as an Application Chemist (Consumables). At Shimadzu, he is responsible for the technical support and application of consumables in chromatography and spectroscopy.
